Hall Of Fame Banquet hosted by KWGN Anchor Tom Green

Tom Green anchors the Emmy-award winning News2 This Morning. Tom is a news and sports veteran within the Denver market, with more than twenty years experience and 10 Emmy awards.

Tom made the transition to news anchor when he joined News2 after three years as the main sports anchor at KMGH-TV (ABC) in Denver, CO. Tom's experience also includes play-by-play, color and sideline reporting for ABC and Fox Sports, hosting a national game show (Sports On Tap) for ESPN. Tom also was radio host for KKFN-AM where he inaugurated shows featuring then-Nuggets head coaches Doug Moe and Dan Issel. Previously Tom was sports anchor for more than 13 years for KUSA-TV (NBC) in Denver, CO after working for ESPN.

In addition to 10 Emmy awards, Tom was named the Colorado Sportscaster of the Year 4 times by the National sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

Tom grew up in New York, and attended Ithaca College. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf.

BPC Luncheon - November 8, 2006

CBS-4 sports anchor and former Denver Bronco Reggie Rivers was our featured speaker, detailing how he moved from the world of professional football to become a newspaper columnist, published author, radio talk show host at KHOW, and eventually, his current role anchoring sports and hosting Broncos-related programming at KCNC. He offered insights on the pressures faced by the media covering the Broncos, as well as news and societal issues.

Gannett's Roger Ogden was the keynote speaker for the evening and spoke about the convergence between traditional broadcasting outlets and digital media delivery over the internet.

He outlined a future where web specific content won't just augment the traditional newscast, but provide additional and unique digital content to viewers.
